Increase productivity by taking on opportunities opened up by ObjectDCL
technology. Take existing AutoLISP®
applications or build new ones. Then design dialogs in term of look, layout and
behavior. ObjectDCL is very flexible and supports creative dialog designs.
Create projects and dialogs during the implementation phase. Assign names to
dialogs and controls. Enable event handlers for certain
dialogs and controls . Define the corresponding AutoLISP® function names for the
event handlers.
Use the ObjectDCL Dialog Editor
and a syntax coloring-enabled text editor or VisualLisp®.
Test for usability and robustness. Give life to your applications by
loading the ObjectDCL Runtime Extension (ARX)
in AutoCAD® and gain access to a large API for handling
ObjectDCL projects, dialogs and controls.
Create an installation package to deliver the product. The
ObjectDCL Runtime Extension (ARX) comes with
a distribution installer (the same installer is used for runtime distribution and
software development) that runs silently as part of the new product's installation
script.
If the finished product is for personal use, there is no need
to sign projects. However, if it is targeted for distribution within organizations
or to third-parties, sign projects with the ObjectDCL Distribution Kit.
This enables application users to run the new software solution without
purchasing a single-seat license for the ObjectDCL Runtime Extension (ARX).
